Daly City, California – Over the
off-season Hennessey Racing decided to put Greg
Leonard in the driver seat of their #3 Pro Truck.
This paid off well for team owner Pete Hennessey,
as Greg won the
Altamont
Motorsports
Park season opener, giving Hennessey Racing its
first win!
Greg also drove the #3 Chevrolet Silverado to a
19.220 lap in qualifying which set fast time for
the Pro Truck division. Setting fast time and
winning the Main Event on opening night of course
puts the team in the points lead in a division
they plan on running full time this season.
This was the first time Greg and his team were
back at the racetrack since a Late Model wreck at
Irwindale Speedway back in September of last
year. It was a good way to come back and a great
