Leonard Starting his run at the California State Late Model Championship this Saturday at Irwindale Speedway September 25th, 2003 - by Udo Richter Daly City, California – Leonard Motorsports and driver Greg Leonard have already put the pedal to the metal in their post season schedule of events. They started off on the high banks of Stockton 99 Speedway for the Tri-Holiday Classic which starts 22 cars on the tight ¼ mile oval. The team’s goal was to make the main based off qualifying time and finish the race in one piece which can be quite difficult at this particular track, especially for a driver’s first visit. Both goals were achieved as Greg qualified fast enough to go straight to the main and came across the line in 12th place when the race came to an end.
